I am not the best grocery shopper. I always forget things, even if they are on the list. I'm often distracted by something new, or what is fresh and inexpensive--this is how I ended up with butternut squash in August. Upon returning home to the kitchen, I realized that I don't have a squash recipe that isn't a hot soup. It was over 100 degrees yesterday! I happened to have some basil on-hand and a jar of Trader Joe's Thai green curry sauce. Butternut squash with green curry....yummy experiment. It was great!
